Professional career
After training to become a chemical laboratory assistant at Solvay's German plants, Mr. Krispin studied Mechanical and Process Engineering at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.
In 1980, he joined Bayer AG as a production engineer, later becoming head of the application technology centre (development of customerspecific processes and products).
From 1986 to 1988, he was in charge of production and development at Geberit AG/ Sanbloc GmbH, Weilheim/Upper Bavaria.
From 1988 to 1995, he worked at automotive supplier EMPE Werke GmbH & Co. KG, Geretsried, first as head of research & development, later as deputy director responsible for technology.
Since 1996, he has been a self-employed interim manager. He has held directorships of up to 18 months in various companies in the automotive supply, transportation and packaging supply, plastics engineering, medical technology (precision dental tools, high-tech heart support systems), display engineering, timber-based materials and component industries.
His core activities are optimisation of production processes, restructuring and management of production facilities and crisis management.
