Professional career
After training to become a chemical laboratory assistant specialising in analytical chemistry and microbiology, he gained a degree in business administration. He started his career as an assistant to the head of IT at Barry Callebaut AG where he helped with inhouse training and was responsible for process analysis and optimisation.
In 2001, he joined IBM Switzerland, initially as an IT specialist in SAP consultancy, later being promoted to (advanced) consultant. He worked on and led national and international systemintroduction projects and training projects and set up inhouse support systems for customers.
In 2006, he joined TDS Multivision AG, a Swiss subsidiary of the German company TDS, as a senior consultant and project manager in the logistics division specialising in sales & marketing and customer relationship management.
In 2007, he joined Steria Schweiz AG as head of the logistics team in the SAP consultancy division, with responsibilities for account management, new customer acquisition as well as a consultancy role as a senior SAP consultant.
Since 2008 self-employed consultant and interim manager.
